The Institute for Strategic Risk and Security is an independent, non-profit NGO founded in 2025 and headquartered in Geneva. ISRS produces original research and rapid analytical assessments at the intersection of intelligence, security, and technology. Its work spans three domains: democratic resilience, cyber, and post-conflict recovery.
ISRS is the originating institution of the Synthetic Asymmetry framework, which explains how the convergence of AI, cyber operations, and synthetic media has created a new category of strategic power accessible to actors that traditional deterrence was never designed to address. The framework has been published in The Cipher Brief and is currently under academic review.
ISRS leadership has presented at the World Economic Forum at Davos, the G7, the G20, the Warsaw Security Forum, the U.S. Senate, the Senate of Spain, and Black Hat Cybersecurity Briefings.
