Join a team building the future of global security.
At the Institute for Strategic Risk and Security (ISRS), we solve hard security problems—combining technical expertise, policy insight, and field-based experience to strengthen democratic institutions, develop sovereign cyber capabilities, and enable post-conflict recovery through innovation.
We are not a traditional think tank. We are a do tank: built for impact in complex, high-stakes environments.
ISRS seeks individuals who are:
Experts in their fields (cybersecurity, post-conflict, resilience, policy, disinformation, governance)
Comfortable working in fluid, fast-paced, mission-driven environments
Committed to democratic values, transparency, and innovation
Field-oriented, globally fluent, and capable of cross-cultural collaboration
Thinkers and doers. We value action and outcomes
We are currently building a global roster of trusted experts and collaborators. While we do not have full-time positions open at this time, we invite expressions of interest from those seeking to engage in the following roles:
Field Advisors (Cybersecurity, Governance, Disinformation)
Short-term, project-based deployments in fragile or transitional regions.
Requires strong domain expertise and the ability to deliver under pressure.
Policy & Research Fellows
Support ISRS briefings, white papers, and policy frameworks on emerging global risks. Ideal for early-career experts or graduate-level researchers.
Strategic Communications & Design Consultants
Help craft visually compelling and high-impact public content, including briefings, campaigns, and knowledge tools.
Advisory Collaborators
Senior-level specialists interested in joining our advisory council, contributing to strategic missions, or co-developing policy interventions.
